For what it's worth, a lot of public sector union officials in NYC are good with the Taylor Law (it's what got those unions in the dental, prescription and legal services insurance business)... but to MEMBERS - the Taylor Law hobbles us and is why we're as weak as we are (and why most of us end up working without a contract years at a time
Like the broken clock that's right twice a day, Cynthia Nixon was right on the money about repealing the Taylor Law... and that's literally the only reason I voted for her
